Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 August 2026

This is a draft document to keep the site functional during development. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and should not be treated as final until it is.

1. Introduction

This policy explains what personal information The Analytics School ("TAS", "we", "us") collects when you use our website, the TEA Employability Assessment, and SkillUp to Work Africa, and how we use, share, and protect it.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you give us directly, such as:

  • Your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
  • Your answers to the employability assessment.
  • Payment details when you enrol in SkillUp to Work Africa (handled by our payment processor — we don't store your card details ourselves).
  • Messages you send us through the contact form or WhatsApp.

We also collect some information automatically, such as:

  • Basic usage data (pages visited, time on site) through analytics tools.
  • Device and browser information.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To generate your employability report from your assessment answers.
  • To process payments for SkillUp to Work Africa.
  • To send you emails about your account, assessment, or programme updates.
  • To improve the platform and understand how it's used.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the platform — for example, our database and authentication provider, our email provider, and our payment processor — and only to the extent needed for them to provide that service.

5. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how visitors use the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work properly if you disable them.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and secure authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data from unauthorised access.

7. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your account and assessment data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we'll remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep it to meet a legal obligation.

8. Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by reaching out through the Contact page. You can also update most of your account details yourself from your dashboard.

9. Children's Privacy

The platform is intended for graduates and early-career professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the minimum age required to use online services in their country.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
